CLASS SCHEDULE for Pieceful Pastime
Finally—a list of the new Fall classes! I know many of you have been asking, so here they are!
Beginning Quilting. In this class you will make a set of four placemats. Select four fat quarters for the tops and away you go! Pat Petersen is the instructor who will lead you through cutting, piecing, and machine quilting. You will need to furnish your own machine and it must be in good working condition! You will also need your basic sewing equipment: thread, rotary cutter, mat. (Please ask if you have questions about what is meant by basic supplies!) Class will meet two times: Saturday, September 18 & 25 from 10-noon with a 1-hour break for you to go for lunch and then return and work again from 1-2 p.m. Cost is $10 + the pattern, four fat quarters, backing, and batting. Class size is strictly limited to 5 persons.
Buggy Barn Cat Class. Use that delightful method of stack, cut, shuffle, and sew to make these whimsical cats. For those of you who have been making Halloween-themed quilts with Susan every Fall, here is the latest installment. And even if you haven't been in on the earlier fun, feel free to join in now! Class will meet two times: Thursday, September 30 and October 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Cost is $15 plus you will need the book. Susan will be your teacher.

Stashbuster. For those of you who are thinking of making a quilt to use up some of that stash you've accumulated, here is the lastest in our Stashbuster offerings! The class will meet Saturday, October 9, from 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. We will spend the time making squares and half-squares. The cost for the class is $10, and that includes the pattern. Call or stop down to sign up and find out what you need to do BEFORE class! (Although this class is designed for use with Thangles, you may choose to use your favorite method of half-square construction. You may bring a lunch or leave for one. Lea will be the leader for this adventure!

Class Policies:
1. You must pay your registration fees to be considered registered for a class. Once fees are paid, they will not be refunded unless we end up canceling the class. Registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Classes which do not have enough students to make them viable one week before start date, will be cancelled.
2. Each student will be required to have a pattern for the class. Sharing or using photocopies deprives the designer of payment for his/her work and is against the law.
3. We encourage you to purchase your supplies at our shop. We purposely keep class fees low, but if you consistently make your fabric and supply purchases at another store, we will not be able to continue with classes. Some of our classes, like Stashbuster, are designed as an opportunity for you to use up what you already have without making further purchases. |

The check is non-refundable, but it will not be cashed until the class begins. If we have to cancel the class for any reason, we will return your check to you. We prefer that you purchase your fabric and supplies at our shop, as we know the quality and usefulness of our products, and your business allows us to stay in business and continue offering classes.
