Ready for a shock, girls?  It's me again with an update! 

First of all, the Pro-Fab mini Shop Hop is running September 17- 26.  Stop at each of the seven shops and collect a piece of the pattern Signs of Spring—they're free just for asking!  Get your card stamped.  If you stop at all seven shops, your name will be entered in a drawing.  Each shop will give away one $25 gift certificate.  What could be better than that?  (Oh, and no snowstorms this time of year, so you can just enjoy the trip!)
Halloween Party!  Ghosties and gremlins, mark your calendars for October 24 and join us here at the shop for our annual Halloween Party!  Starting at 9:30 a.m., you can bring your machine and make the Halloween wallhanging.  Cost is $5 + the kit.  While you are sewing you can nibble on the ghastly goodies that Susan has concocted and at noon she'll have a truly wicked meal!  Come in costume, and you will receive a 20% discount on your day's purchases.  (But, if you come dressed as either Susan or Lea, we will charge you 120% of the prices!) We would appreciate it if you would let us know in advance that you are coming so that we have plenty of eyeballs and pumpkin juice!  See you there!

Panelist WINNERS!  Congratulations to Bonnie Smith, Bev Peitz, and Amy Sisson who all won $20 gift certificates in the Panel Challenge.  I'm sorry to admit that I forgot to take pictures before they collected their quilts, but it was our first challenge, so the learning curve for me is steep!  I will do better next time.

Houston Market is fast approaching, so I will be headed down to find the newest, the coolest, the most fantastic things the quilt world has to offer! I'll report what I see when I get back, so I hope to send you an update mid-October!
